Formulation Philosophy

Formulation Philosophy

The general assumption that natural ingredients are best for your skin and that ingredients created in the laboratory are harmful is merely incorrect. We believe the optimal performance of any skincare product can only be ensured if the skin fully accepts each of the ingredients.

Bio-identical and lab-created ingredients are highly sustainable, less reactionary, and environmentally friendly as these ingredients require no cultivation of land, no pesticides, and far less water. They are traceable, readily available, and do not tax the earth's limited ecological resources.

As a responsible corporate citizen, we are committed to building a sustainable and environmentally conscious company with no interest in exhausting many of the earth's already limited resources.

Botanical Ingredients

Plant-based botanicals provide essential constituents that contribute additional support to the epidermal structure. Whole plants and plant extracts with healing, regenerative, and supporting properties are grown organically or harvested wild without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides.

Safe Synthetic Ingredients

Safe synthetics preserve the complexity and synergistic composition of formulas. These highly beneficial ingredients enhance product effects and are used selectively to complement formulas and function as vitamin, nutrient, or mineral supplements to the skin.

Bio-Identical Ingredients

Bio-identical ingredients are highly compatible with human skin structure, and therefore your skin receptors are more likey to identify them as parts of itself. Commonly used bio-identicals are Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides, and Vitamins A, D, and E.

Nature-Identical Ingredients

Nature-identical ingredients are identical to their natural counterparts but manufactured in a lab. Vitamin C is an exceptional nature-identical ingredient. Along with Vitamin C, the majority of vitamins used in the cosmetics industry are nature-identical and human-made.
